The Elite program is designed to provide a more challenging level of play for those players who possess the appropriate interest, skills and abilities and to enhance each player’s experience and individual growth through the game of soccer while retaining the spirit and organization of AYSO. The goal of Area 2C Elite program is to strengthen Area 2C by retaining players and volunteers in current primary programs operated under the AYSO philosophies. Elite program is not designed to overshadow or harm the standard regional Fall primary programs.
It is important to remember that this program is a part of AYSO, and therefore is still guided by the same principles that cover all AYSO programs. It is important that all teams recognize that good sportsmanship and positive coaching are not set aside during the running of this program.
